AMAZON KINDLE 2 Black Hard BRIEF Carrying POUCH CASE Cover Sleeve
Overall the product met my expectations and I am pleased with it. Unlike other cases I looked at, it protects the edges of the Kindle and would keep it dry if you are caught in the rain with it. It is also a hardshell case so would better protect the Kindle from impacts and if accidentally dropped from a low height.
In my opinion however, there are two features that could be improved. First, the velcroed elastic band that somewhat secures the Kindle in the case is attached to the case vertically and must be undone to view the screen and fully use the keypad. An alternative fastening system using the Kindle’s case hinge slots would be more secure and allow for immediate use of the Kindle after unzipping the case. Second, the case is just deep enough to hold the USB cable, but not deep enough for the wall outlet power adapter. My wife ordered a similar, but slightly different, case that was just deeper enough to hold both the USB cable and wall adapter.
